Instagram (IG Login) — updated profile connection and improved the API
For business profiles (login via Facebook or via Instagram), we’ve added:
- User tagging in Stories — you can now tag users in Story posts the same way as in the regular post form.
- Trial Reels (available for certain Instagram accounts) — a new Reels mode that lets you first show a Reel to non-followers to test the idea/hook/editing without affecting your audience. If it performs well, you can later publish it as a regular Reel for followers.
How “graduation” works:
- MANUAL — manual only: the creator decides in the Instagram app when (and whether) to graduate a Trial Reel into a regular Reel.
- SS_PERFORMANCE — performance-based: if the Trial Reel performs well, Instagram may automatically graduate it into a regular Reel (exact metrics/thresholds are typically not publicly disclosed).
Improvements
- YouTube — increased the limit to 10 posts per day per account.
- Facebook Story — increased video validation to support videos up to 60 seconds.
Bug fixes
Post import — fixed an issue where posts were not created from an imported file by adding retry attempts for file uploads.
